… it has been very cold and windy on the water, particularly yesterday, but we have been catching and releasing a lot of grouper, snapper, ladyfish, sharks and sheepshead!

… weather should be a bit better today and a lot better tomorrow!

We’re based in Fort Myers, but our boats leave from Castaways Marina on the northern tip of Sanibel Island, and ‘Tween Waters and Jensen’s Marinas on Captiva Island, all about a half hour drive from Fort Myers.

Most of the time we’re within casting distance of land, fishing the mangroves, or the oyster bars or the passes; we’ll go out a mile or two into the bay or gulf if we’re looking for goliath grouper, or tarpon or sharks.
